The Green Team hosts walking tours showcasing sustainable aspects of the Panorama campus, including solar panels, EV charging stations, recycling and more. A video shown in the main auditorium features locations which are too far away to include in the walking tour, including the Barn, Pea Patch and Pollinator Garden. Green Team volunteers lead the tours, and experts are available to describe sustainable features and answer questions. Distance is approximately .75 miles, and total time for a tour is about 1.5 to 2 hours. Green Team members are at the Pavilion to visit with tour participants and answer questions before and after the tours.
The normal schedule is for small groups (no more than 12 participants) to begin the tour at the Pavilion at 9, 9:30, 10, 10:30, 11 and 11:30 a.m. on the specified date, normally in May of odd-numbered years. Resident participants sign up at the Activity Desk and future residents sign up through the Marketing Department.
