The Panorama Green Team

FEBRUARY 2011 ARTICLE –
THE PANORAMA GREEN TEAM (PAN GREEN)

Pan Green is the newest organization under the Panorama Resident Council. We meet monthly in the Panorama Auditorium Green room (how’s that for name recognition?) and we welcome more participants. Our next meeting is Feb. 9 at 2:00 pm. Some of the areas we are interested in are:

  • Waste reduction
  • Noise abatement
  • Water use
  • Energy savings

We plan to work with the Panorama Corporation and residents to highlight what we are doing well and to develop and implement plans for even more environmentally sound steps in the future. If you have suggestions or want to pitch in on a project, contact Don Melnick at 5709.

Our first event, THE STORY OF STUFF will be in the Panorama Auditorium on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23, 2011, 1:30PM. More about that in the next issue. We promise door prizes and a lively discussion. Save the date!

HELPFUL HINT:
What to do with packing peanuts, which can’t be taken to the recycling center? Take them to any UPS or mailbox store. There is one near Fred Meyer.
