On Saturday, June 4, 2022 the Green Team sponsored a tour of the 5-acre Bergford Family Farm & Gardens. Hosts Patricia and Scott Bergford gave us a grand tour of the farm where we met various farm animals, and the gardens where we admired the beautiful flowers and other plants growing outside and in the greenhouses. The pond features a fountain and bench to sit and admire the fountain and koi fish. Bob the cat entertained us by trying (unsuccessfully) to catch leaping frogs in the pond. At the end of the walk we were treated to coffee, tea and cookies. This was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to future trips at other times of the year when different flowers will be blooming.
